Forensic Psychiatry Expert Testifies James Holmes Knew What He Was Doing

Forensic psychiatry expert witness William H. Reid, M.D., M.P.H, testified in the case against James Holmes, accused of shooting twelve people to death. The state appointed expert interviewed Holmes for twenty-two hours and believes Holmes was capable of knowing that what he was doing was wrong in the Colorado movie theater massacre. “My opinion is that, whatever he suffered from, it did not prevent him from forming the intent and knowing what he was doing and the consequences of what he was doing,” said Dr. Reid.
