Signet’s Sterling Jewelers Inc. argued in U.S. District Court in Northern Ohio that Zale Corp uses false advertising when claiming that their Celebration Fire diamonds are ”the most brilliant diamond in the world.” In their complaint, Sterling says that the gems could only be called the most brilliant if they were tested against every other cut diamond in the world.
