Medical Experts On Alcohol Energy Drinks

Medical_0004Last month Michigan became the second state to ban the sale of controversial alcohol energy drinks including Four Loko and Joose after the state’s alcohol control commission gave manufacturers 30 days to get the drinks out of their borders.  The ban comes after a number of states targeted the popular party drink Four Loko, which was blamed for a rash of hospitalizations of college students this year, including 50 last month at a Central Washington University party.  Medical experts say one can of Joose is equal to 6 beers plus the caffeine of an energy drink.
