Medical Expert On HIV Treatment
Medical expert Dr. Renslow Sherer was in the news this week saying that treatment for HIV has improved rapidly since the 1980’s and that there are now a variety of methods to stop the spread of HIV – if those methods are used effectively.
Dr. Sherer is a Clinical Associate and the Program Chair of the Section of Infectious Disease at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He is one of the founders of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (1985), as well as the Sable/Sherer Human Retroviral Disease Clinic at Cook County Hospital, where he has been a primary caregiver for persons with HIV disease since 1982.
