Forensic Science Expert Witness Testifies In “Whitey” Bulger Case

Forensic science expert witness Dr. Ann Marie Mires testified in the Boston US District Court trial of James “Whitey” Bulger.  The forensic anthropologist described how remains of four victims related to the case were exhumed in Dorchester, MA.  Bulger, who disappeared in 1994 and was found  living in a small apartment in Santa Monica, CA, is charged with racketeering.

Dr. Mires is Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Anna Maria College, Worcester, MA, and served as a Forensic Anthropologist in the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
