Environmental Expert & Agent Orange

Two former U.S. officers testified during a Korean National Assembly hearing last week about their involvement in the U.S. Forces Korea’s alleged burial of a toxic defoliant in Korea. Seoul and Washington are taking groundwater samples near Camp Carroll in Chilgok, North Gyeongsang Province to investigate claims that the U.S. Forces Korea buried drums of the lethal defoliant Agent Orange there in 1978.  The U.S. military and the Korean government have jointly conducted an on-site investigation which included an American environmental expert.
